Sleaford History Group

The Sleaford Group, which is part of SLHA, organises a programme of talks and events for everybody interested in local history, family history or archaeology in the area.

Meetings, open to all, are held at 7.30 pm on the third Thursday of every month (except August) at St Denys’s Church Room, off the Market Place close to the centre of Sleaford. A small charge is made to non-members.

The group also arranges occasional outings and research projects. It maintains a growing library of manuscript and typescript items, such as parish register transcripts.

The group also publishes a quarterly newsletter, The Sleaford Historian, copies of which are available for reference in Sleaford Library and on this website.
