The chapel in Main Street was opened by the Wesleyan Methodists in 1875, replacing a chapel of 1840 on the same site.

It closed for worship in 1982 and has since been converted into a house.

The two-arched packhorse bridge at Scredington (TF 097409), constructed in c1250, now carries a footpath over a village stream.

Close by are the remains of a moat and the extensive site of a medieval manor.

This 2-arched medieval bridge of c.1250 over the village stream is one of few bridges of this period in the county.

It has been reinforced - rather crudely - with modern concrete.

A striking feature of St Andrews is the octagonal south-west tower with its tall needle spire. Like much of the building, it dates from 1869.

The north aisle, however, and the three-bay arcade are 15th century.

St Andrew's font has an octagonal base - possibly fifteenth century - but the circular bowl is more recent and decidedly plain.
