The Palm Court café at Anderby Creek was dismantled & reassembled at Toynton St Peter where it serves as the village hall.

The two phases of building are clear in this photograph. The nave and bellcote were built in 1759; the chancel and apse (to the right) were added in 1887 with dentilation at the eaves and different window surround.

In the north wall of the chancel a similar archway to the chancel arch with fluted imposts.

The chancel windows have rear arches of moulded brick with rolled angles and facets.

The chancel arch is semi-circular in moulded brick with rolls to the angles of the two orders, paired ashlar shafts to the imposts, with fluted bases and cushion capitals.

This ashlar cross shaft dating from the fourteenth century is in the churchyard on the south side of the church. It has a facetted base with pyramidal angles, supporting octagonal shaft via stop chamfers.

The gabled south porch is against the tower and has semi-circular headed inner and outer doorways with continuously moulded brick reveals.

The war memorial is on the wall to the right (south) of the chancel arch.

The names of seven men who were killed in the First World War are recorded. Surnames: Briggs, Brough, Budiment (2), North, Tawn and Whaler.
