Thorganby Hall, though Georgian in its details, is the remains of a house rebuilt in 1648.

The two-storey five-bay front is seventeenth century in plan with nineteenth century casing.

It was the home of the Willoughby family and later the Nainbys.

More details about this house and its owners can be found in T R Leach's book, 'Lincolnshire Country Houses and their Families: Part 2', published by SLHA.  Buy a copy.

Almost all of the exterior of All Saints was rebuilt in c.1900 in ironstone with limestone dressings.

The bellcote is a typical feature of late Victorian churches in the area.

Thankfully 'unscraped', the welcoming and open church has a bright interior.

The interior of the wheelhouse. It served as a corn mill through the nineteenth century and then, in the early twentieth century, it was converted to power an electricity generator.

The mill pond created in the small stream may have been used as a sheep dip.
